Meet Dr. Cassidy
James L. Cassidy, Jr. was born May 9, 1957, in Macon, Georgia and is the third of four children of Dr. and Mrs. James L. Cassidy Sr. In his early years, James attended St. Joseph Parochial School and Mount de Sales Academy. In 1979, Dr. Cassidy graduated from the University of Georgia with a B. S. in Biology. He went on to graduate from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1983 with a D.M.D. Degree. Dr. Cassidy has been in the private practice of general dentistry since 1983.
Dr. Cassidy is married to the former Wendy Merkert of Savannah, Georgia. They have two sons, Jimmy and Charlie, and live in Macon. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dr. Cassidy has been a member of St. Joseph’s Parish Council, a lay minister of Communion and a lay commentator.
He is a member of the Macon Chamber of Commerce, Idle Hour Country Club and Macon City Club.

Dental Hygienist, Hygiene Coordinator
Charlotte graduated from Macon State in 1992 with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Since graduating, Ms. Robinson has practiced in Macon and in 2004, she joined Dr. Cassidy and his team. Charlotte is married to Bryon Robinson and they have two children, Kody and Jessica.
Lori Carter, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Lori has been working in the dental field since 1987. In 1991, Lori graduated from Valencia Community College with her degree in dental hygiene. In 2001, Lori joined Dr. Cassidy and his team. Mrs. Carter has been married to Barry for 20 years. They have two children, Megan and Jay. Lori is a member of the Barnesville Church of Christ, enjoys reading and loves to watch her kids grow up.
Cathy Gardner
Dental Assistant
Mrs. Gardner attended Lipscomb University and is a certified dental assistant. She continues her education with the Dawson seminars. Cathy has been a team member since 1987 and enjoys assisting Dr. Cassidy in the office and in his teachings. She has been married to Bobby for 19 years. They have two children, Christopher and Jackson.
DeNise Skipper
Administrative Assistant
DeNise has been in the dental field since 1985. She continues her education through various dental seminars and courses. She is proud to have presented "Creating the Ideal Day" at the 2000 Celebration of Dentistry. DeNise is mother to thee – Crystal, Kaylee and Tucker and Grandmother to one – Kaidyn.
